What’s wrong with this picture?

Guess how old this little girl is. Go on, guess. She’s two. TWO! She’s called Savanha and was posing for a children’s beauty pageant in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m sorry but her parents should be taken outside and slapped hard. What were they thinking? There’s no beauty in this. It goes way beyond dressing up and pretending to be mummy. This is gross. For a start putting those fake nails on a child should be against the law, especially as they are way longer than mine.
I admit that when I saw these pictures yesterday I felt both repulsed and mesmerised by them. That’s the trouble. They’re repugnant but fascinating at the same time.
I hope beauty pageants like this don’t catch on here. Please.
